I have played around with the mannequin before and really enjoyed the results. I did this again and had some interesting photos I think makes more of impact than the last images did as the fabrics are much larger and I can dress the figure more fully with my designs.

Weaving tester collection fabrics
This being the final week before Easter break I wanted to squeeze one more warp out just to finalize my ideas , and have something larger in my work to present with my final. I feel as though these samples came out well, but I think there should have been more repeats across the design, and its a mistake I have made in the past as I didn't plan this warp out as well as I should have. I would like to try drawing out my ideas in my sketchbook as I think that would help with that mistake. I also have not produced any card windings this year with is terrible! I will certainly get on with that over Easter and after I return for the final term.

Dyeing and recreating
All this week my main goals were to weave one more final warp before Easter, wet finish and re-dye and replenish my stock yarns in the required amount. I did reach my goal and I should be able to plan out two warps with the amount I have dyed today, but I may have to re-dye some more green as I feel might not have enough but, I think I am satisfied for now.

Design ideas
Here are some of my sketches I have been playing around with some ideas, to present along side my fabrics. I have also developed one design into Photoshop. I had fun using this software again and may try this again on more design in the future.

Sketchbook studies
I have also had some time to create some pages in my sketchbook that I am really quite proud of, I have made a variety of colour studies and drawing using my inspired images which I sometimes forget to keep studying and developing ideas directly from. Its also a good idea to lay all my work out in front of me as I can get a better feel for the direction I am going and what is missing from the collection I have.

Fabric Manipulation tests
I took some time off to prepare for the formative, mounting samples and taking photos of my work to try and help better visualize where I am going with these samples and understand how I might present at later stages in the project. I tried many different ideas and have made quite a bit of progress at this stage, sewing and making little tester for jewellery and manipulating my fabrics further through pleating ideas.
